Sunny lives in a shabby backyard in Prenzlauer Berg, where the pigeons nest and the old neighbor always finds fault with her. She is uncompromising in her search for happiness. As a pop singer, she tours the province and meets Ralf, a philosopher who listens to ancient Indian music and wears a matching shirt. Sunny falls in love with the quiet man on the spot, but her backyard happiness doesn't last long. Her band throws her out, too. But Sunny doesn't let herself be bent...
