Film Projection
The Kino im Blauen Salon shows films in analog projection whenever possible in order to give the film experience in its originally intended form. We make every effort to screen our program with original analog 35mm and 16mm prints as a means to create a lively showcase for the cinematic diversity and creative energy of classic analog cinema.
Historical film prints, archive prints and silent films in 35mm and 16mm format can be played professionally and in accordance with FIAF guidelines in our cinema, the Blue Salon, as well as at the open-air cinema.
Kino im Blauen Salon supports the FIAF program Don't Throw Film Away! and the international campaign Save Film!
