A film as a gift to a dear friend - Rose Lowder dedicated this short film to her friend Yann Beauvais, founder of LightCone, a Parisian experimental film distribution company, which he still runs today despite all adversity, giving many young talents a home. “In a small village, I used to admire a magnificent field of flowers every October during the fair. When I was in a hurry and neglected an infection on my right thumb, I had to film these flowers more or less one-handed and subsequently spent two days in hospital. I can't help but think that the making of this little movie reflects all the difficulties Yann himself faced.” (Rose Lowder)
