Mirror, Mirror on the Wall and Hei Ho, Hei Ho: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs marked a major breakthrough for Disney and its animation studio: it was the first feature-length animated film adapted from the Brothers Grimm story, loved by critics and audiences alike. The film received numerous awards, including a special Oscar (one major and seven minor ones).
