The division between East and West Germany no longer exists, and so the Russian officer Lasutkin finds himself stranded in Berlin with no orders, no subordinates and no comrades with whom he could sympathize. As he wanders aimlessly through the city, he rants about politics to no one in particular, tries to clean up a disfigured statue of Lenin and begins an affair with the lovely Miki Miki.
Special presentation in cooperation with the Open Research Center (ORC) and the Department of Scenography/Exhibition Design at the HfG.
