It's hard to believe that after several dozen years, it's actually goodbye, Ludger! Ludger Pfanz, a member of staff at the HfG since the 5th year after its foundation, is looking forward to retirement and as a farewell we will watch the short film of his filmmaking career together again, which in a way went down in history as the initial HfG project, in the sense that many members of the HfG, from students to the janitor to the secretariat, were involved in the production.
The chronically unemployed Micha is fed up with doing nothing and the mills of German bureaucracy. Without further ado, he starts looking for work on his own where he thinks it needs to be done. The “system” is overwhelmed ...
Ludger Pfanz has been an integral part of the HfG Karlsruhe since the mid-90s. In his short film from 2002, Ludger involved so many people from the HfG that SCHWARZARBEITER can be seen as an important testimony to the HfG of the 2000s. For some viewers, the film probably comes very close to the game “Where's Walter?”.
