Best Design!
What would the start of the semester at the Blauer Salon be without a big flick through the new program? Exactly: almost like going to the movies without seeing a movie. Luckily, our design team is once again making sure that it not only crackles on the screen, but also on paper. And because everything is always a little different for us, the magazine is also reinvented every time.
At an art academy, change is part of everyday life - people come, go, return or reappear. Sometimes new teams are formed, the graphic design changes and remains in a constant state of flux - just like our program. We are very grateful for this circumstance and would like to express our gratitude publicly.
We are young, we have no CI, no style guide, no master plan. But every semester we have new graphic talents, new energy, new ideas. Our program booklet is not just a leaflet with dates. It is a signal. A small but serious declaration of love to the cinema - and to the films we show.
The fact that this has been so successful again this semester is mainly down to Moritz Schneider, who designed the current booklet. Unagitated, clear, with a strong sense of rhythm and image. We think so: One of those magazines that you like to open a second time - and then maybe a third.
The semester poster comes from Mona Mayer, who we would finally like to thank publicly in this blog post! Mona and Moritz have accompanied the cinema in the Blauer Salon for a very long time and have given us their impulses and creativity, there was usually nothing more than coffee and cake from the black box in return, but you can be sure that endless thanks and a great enrichment of German cinema graphics will remain forever!
