When Harry and Sally meet for the first time in 1977, they are not exactly thrilled with each other. But in the years that follow, they meet again and again by chance. The first time, both are just in promising relationships, which have already broken up five years later at their second meeting. Because of these experiences, they become friends and try to set each other up. But then Harry makes a mistake.
