A documentary film about a political acting troupe led by Hollywood stars Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland that performed in cities near military bases in the U.S. in the early 1970s. The troupe is is staging shows under the name “F.T.A.,” which stands for “F**k the Army,” and is aimed to convince soldiers to voice their opposition to the Vietnam War, which was raging at the time. Various singers, actors and other entertainers of the era perform anti-war songs and skits during the show.
